    • ]]>     I have always loved crossdressing dramas, the stories are often so funny and hilarious! In Painter of the Wind, Moon Geun Young crossdress as the famous Joseon painter Shin Yoon Bok, interestingly portraying the artist as a woman disguised as a man. Somehow, the stories of gender-bending heroines can touch the hearts of many. Strong women, with the hearts and wisdom of women and the guts and determination of men, are seriously very attractive! In Queen Seon Deok, we see Lee Yo Won crossdressing as the Shilla nangdo before becoming Princess Deokman. This strong woman has the wisdom of women, and the guts, courage and determination of men, very rare combinations!

    “You’re Beautiful” is such a funny and hilarous drama, it makes me happy whenever I have the time to watch any of the espisodes!

    Can’t forget Princess Deokman’s determination and perserverance to break through all obstacles to become the first queen of silla.

    The director and screenwriters seriously know how to write very good stories, making you wanting to watch the next espisode even more each week!

    Queen Seon Deok is famous not only because she is the first female ruler in Korean history, but also because of her amazing ability and wisdom in developing the talents of her time, especially Kim Yushin and Kim Chunchu.

    Those people around Deokman, and especially those men, are all highly talented people who all seem to have the qualifications and abilities to become King themselves. These men are like “the tiger constantly biting onto the arm of the King (Queen)”

    Not all people can become King, nor have the destiny to become King (or queen), it takes a certain kind of wisdom to be able to tame and keep these highly talented people around the King!

    So, in the end, eventually, it is Princess Deokman who become the first queen of Silla, and this amazing drama tells you why.
